This was a job I did in Morganton NC awhile back. Oak, Walnut & Cherry. I use a WoodMizer LT35.

Looks good. Tell us how to load some pics. I'd like to share a few when I get busy again.

Hello & welcome Kojba, When making a post, look in the upper right of your screen for add attachment. Right now pixels must be below 1meg. I will get more space as I see things progress. In the lumberworksforums, it was a running joke that if you didn't post pix,... it never happened.

here's some of the work I do. This was a dresser I built. Wasn't my wood, this was out of the attic of a friend's grandmother's house. He wanted something built out of it. Attachments:

WV, you ain't nothin but the man... I like the stuff you build, wish I had the talent you do. Reminds me of how I need to finish up a woodshop, and try to make some furniture.

It's all time and tools. I've spent the past twenties years acquiring both. And I could still use a lot more of both.

I'll be the first to tell ya, member wvufan does some FANTASTIC work. Pictures don't do it justice and that's a fact.
I wouldn't classify his woodworking as run of the mill, he takes lumber and creates functional, purposeful art in my opinion. What he manufactures is beyond something "pretty" that sits against a wall or sits on a shelf... you can actually use it for it's intended purpose.
Yes, he has a dandy shop and is well equipped to do such work, but the creativity is what impresses me the most. I doubt that is a skill that is learned, you're just born with it.
